The new centre for the development of smart omnichannel Retail solutions opens at ComoNext

TESISQUARE®, the leading Italian developer of digital Supply Chain solutions, is inaugurating the new Retail LAB – an innovative center where clients in the Retail sector can explore new solutions to make their sales processes smarter and more flexible by using the state-of-the-art technologies developed by Tesisquare – at ComoNext, the technological innovation hub certified by the Ministry of Economic Development located in the old Somaini cotton mill in Lomazzo (Como).

Based in Cherasco in the province of Cuneo, over the years Tesisquare has built up extensive knowhow in the Retail sector based on its long-time market experience and its equally robust technical expertise in the development and integration of software platforms..

The innovative Retail Lab opened at ComoNext will help Tesisquare clients respond to the new challenges in the sector with new types of solutions based on the Unified Retail Commerce concept, to make the customer's purchasing experience as consistent as possible across all touchpoints, from stores to apps and thee-commerce site.

The Hub will help Retail brands expand digital processes in their sales points to streamline operations in stores and boost customer satisfaction. Solutions will feature unified Front End, Front Office and Back Office management through the “Store Management” system, providing a uniform environment and single user experience in order to maximize operating efficiency and improve control over costs and margins.

The solutions developed by the center include BackOffice Operations Mobile, for agile management of sales point operations, from orders to in-store stock. This enables users to manage sales point operations easily and intuitively, keeping control of orders, stock management, inventories and margin statistics at all times and so being able to devote more time to the sales floor thanks to the support of the mobile app.

One of the main solutions developed in the Lab is the cloud cashpoint, which opens up new scenarios: for example, it can help reduce barrier checkouts by introducing mobile solutions at peak shopping times, and also facilitate testing of new promotions by simulating the effects on sales receipts with real data.

The solutions are intended for all Retail formats: food, no-food, specialist stores, restaurants, electronics, bookstores, DIY, pets, etc. Having a single sales service for the store, bar, restaurant and corner opens up new scenarios for customer relations.”
