An amendment to the Fiscal Decree connected to the Italian Financial Manoeuvre 2022, approved in the Senate Commission, postpones from January 1 to July 1, 2022 the abolition of the Esterometer, allowing the use for a further six months of this tool for the telematic communication of data relating to cross-border supplies of goods and services.
From July the data relating to transactions involving the sale of goods and provision of services made and received to and from persons not established in Italy, will have to be transmitted electronically using the Interchange System (SDI) according to the format of the electronic invoice.
